Patrick is a retired GP with an interest in photography that goes back more than 50 years. Before entering NHS general practice he was in the Army which presented him with excellent photographic opportunities worldwide. 

Over the years he has gone through a few phases - from film cameras and wet processing to digital cameras and post-processing.  Along the way he has been on many photographic workshops, both in the UK and abroad.  Through these he has been influenced by many different and excellent photographers, both professional and amateur, and he feels very fortunate in that several have become good friends as well as being most constructive critics.

Whilst his first interest was landscape photography he finds he enjoys most photography genres now. 

However, abstract black and white photography is attracting his interest more and more.
